The flat is in a perfect situation, an easy walk or carriage ride to the Nile, not in a tourist ghetto but surrounded by genuine Arab life in a relatively prosperous area. Vanessa has cleverly combined the best of two worlds in furnishing and equipping the flat, providing all the essentials of comfortable modern living yet capturing an Egyptian flavour.
